It is an obligation that is required of everyone of us. I grew up in a culture that saw the passing and trading of knowledge as something that is not only mandatory but something to be admired for. It never made any sense to me how some people hoard knowledge like a miser and his gold. Sharing information not only allows one to understand it better, but it allows others to benefit.

Hobbies

- I build lab equipment in my spare time. This has led me to build things such as a centrifuge made with a dremel, and a microscope that uses a smartphone as the imaging device. That last example has been used to see things at over 1,200X magnification. - I also practice drawing and archery. I have been drawing regularly since high school, and use my drawings to illustrate various scientific concepts. I have recently taken up archery as a form of meditation. - I am a prolific reader, as I regularly read books, comics, magazines, graphic novels, and various scientific publications. This has given me a great many resources that I can use for pointing out the significance of how science and maths affects our lives. - Once a week, I get together with a group and regularly disseminate various aspects of pop culture. Examples can be games, movies, and TV series from across the world. - Finally, I regularly spoil my cat Crinkle, whom I adopted a year ago.
